Bryan Kitchen, Chief Executive Officer of Ascent Industries, brings nearly two decades of senior leadership experience in the chemicals industry, having held management roles for several global industry leaders. Most recently, Bryan served as President, CEO, and Chairman of the Board at Clearon Corp., a leading specialty chemicals manufacturer of essential sanitizers and disinfectants used in household, industrial, institutional, and water treatment applications. Under his leadership, Clearon enhanced its market presence and operational efficiency, culminating in the successful sale of the company to Solenis, a global leader in specialty chemicals.

Before his tenure at Clearon, Bryan was the President of Xingfa USA, a division of Hubei Xingfa Chemicals Ltd., where he played a key role in establishing the company as a global leader in specialty phosphates manufacturing. He also served as Vice President of Business Operations at ANGUS Chemical Company (now Advancion), which was carved out from The Dow Chemical Company (NYSE: DOW). Bryan’s career began at Dow AgroSciences and later, at Dow Chemical, one of the world’s largest chemical manufacturers. During his over-a-decade-long tenure, he held various management roles, contributing significantly to business development and strategic initiatives. Bryan is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Marketing from Anderson University. His extensive experience and leadership continue to drive innovation and growth at Ascent Industries.

Ryan Kavalauskas currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Ascent Industries, bringing a wealth of experience and financial expertise to the role. Before joining Ascent Industries, Ryan was the CFO and Treasurer of Clearon Corp., where he worked closely with Bryan Kitchen, who served as President, CEO, and Chairman at the time. In this role, Ryan was instrumental in driving financial strategy, managing treasury functions, supporting key business initiatives, and managing the successful sale of Clearon to Solenis.

Before his tenure at Clearon Corp., Ryan led the FP&A and treasury activities for ANGUS Chemical Company (now Advancion), a carve-out from Dow. During his time at Advancion, he played a critical role in establishing the financial infrastructure and processes necessary for the company’s success. His leadership and strategic vision were essential in navigating the complexities of the carve-out and positioning the company for growth. Ryan’s earlier career includes nearly a decade of various senior financial roles, where he developed his expertise in financial strategy and planning. Ryan holds both a bachelor’s of Political Science and Finance from UWM. His extensive experience and strategic acumen in financial planning and analysis continue to shape the financial success of Ascent Industries.
